Dispensing Bottles


Geologists use water, dyes, stains, indicator solutions, or dilute HCl (5%) when testing rocks and minerals in the field and laboratory. A dispensing bottle is used to apply one drop of liquid when performing the tests. These bottles are not recommended for use with other types of acids, acids of higher concentrations, or for long-term storage.

Dispensing bottles in 1/2 ounce and 1 ounce sizes. They consist of three parts: bottle, dispensing tip, and screw-on cap.

1-Ounce Dispensing Bottle

These dispensing bottles are used by geologists when testing minerals and rocks with water, dye, stains, indicator solutions or dilute HCl (5%) in the field and laboratory. This bottle fits the Gfeller bottle case. Not recommended for use with other types of acids, acids of higher concentrations, or for long-term storage.
